South East Cluster Winter Sports Tournament

On Friday of Week 9 we took 4 teams of HES sportspeople to a tournament. It was based at Waikato University, but some sports were also played at St John's and Knighton Normal School. 

Our rugby, netball, hockey and basketball teams played extremely well and represented HES with pride. 

What a fantastic day! 

The Geckos hockey team won half their games and drew half their games.

The rugby team scored 4 tries, and were only beaten by the team that won their pool.

The netball team won all their games except the final, and came 2nd overall.

The basketball team won half their games scoring 52 points during the day.
