Working together with small balls
Last term once swimming was all finished we moved onto small ball skills. We had Erin from Project Energise come in and help teach us some skills and a couple of great games. Here are some photos of Room 8 working with Room 5 to help teach them small ball skills like throwing and catching.
Winter Sports
Winter sports are well underway at Hamilton East School.
We currently have:
Three hockey teams
Three Netball teams
Two basketball teams
A rugby team and
A soccer team.
With so many sports happening around our school please keep an eye on the blog for information or check the appropriate websites for draws etc. There may also be notices that come home so watch out for these.

Project Energise
Erin from Project Energise is back again this year to teach us more sports skills.
She started off the year with games that helped us learn to work together and will be back in a couple of weeks to do small ball skills.
We always get excited when we know Erin is here to teach us!
Swimming
This year we have been fortunate enough to have fully funded swimming instructors for our whole school. Thank you to 'Find Your Field of Dreams' for providing this for us, what an amazing learning experience!
